CHIEF Circle November 2010

My Dear Personal Friend,

Greetings in the blessed name of Jesus!  I want to thank you for your faithfulness, fellowship, and your love in serving Christ through CHIEF’s ministry.  This has been a victorious “Summer Harvest!”  Our CHIEF Teams have distributed thousands of Native tracts, and hundreds of Gospels of John and Bibles.  A number of Native People prayed for salvation, rededication and for courage and strength to be a greater witness for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!  Your prayers have been a powerful blessing to our CHIEF workers and volunteers who have labored so fervently in the fields that are white unto harvest.  Thank you for being a vital part of our team.  Your financial support is truly the lifeline of this ministry.  The special gifts you’ve given helped make this all possible and I thank you with all my heart.

We started our summer harvest at the “Gathering of the Nations Pow-Wow” held in the University of New Mexico Stadium in Albuquerque.  The city officials expected 150,000 Native People representing hundreds of tribes throughout the Americas.  They claim it is the biggest Native gathering in all the world.  I know it was the greatest opportunity CHIEF ever had to make Christ known to so many Indians all in one place.  Our hearts were truly challenged!  The Lord willing, CHIEF will consider making this an annual evangelism project.  If our Native People won’t come to the church, we will go to them wherever they are!  This kind of evangelism gives us a wide-open door to the masses of our Native People.

Dr. Isaias Colop-Xec, our Quiche Indian who represents CHIEF in Guatemala, reports that his staff now conducts nine discipleship training centers for Native pastors and leaders.  Praise the Lord for the spiritual growth in the body of Christ among the Quiche tribe of over one million precious souls. God is also doing a great work in Peru.  Rev. Joshua Saune, CHIEF’s Quechua Indian representative in the Andes mountains, is experiencing an effectual door of opportunity among the young people.  Many are coming to Christ and want to study the Word of God.  CHIEF’s other Native representatives are Rev. Donato Palomino and his wife Esther, ministering in Huaraz, Peru with their Quechua people.  Donato is serving as interim in two Native churches.  Esther is arranging the construction of a new roof on their home to accommodate a larger area for discipleship classes and a prophet’s chamber.  They are seeing the blessing of the Lord in this high mountain village.  All glory to God!

Other victories have been our follow-up contact this Fall with Native students attending Moody Bible Institute, Trinity Seminary and Wheaton College in establishing a Native Christian Fellowship in Chicago.  We challenged the students a year ago to start an outreach to the forty-eight thousand Native people living in Chicago without one Native Church!  Praise God, now they have the opportunity to fellowship!  Please pray for these Native students and their friends as they seek out the lost to tell them the good news of Jesus and His love.  The CHIEF ministries continue to grow!  The outreach is farther than ever before!  The message of the uncompromising Word of God never changes!  God’s power is the same!  He can save to the uttermost!  Nothing is too hard for God!  Hallelujah!

I am deeply grateful for your love and fellowship in the Gospel.  Every special gift you send is a tremendous help and blessing.  We can’t thank you enough for the vital part you have in reaching our precious Native People with the Gospel.  But to continue we need a very generous gift from you.  We come again and ask you to help give a miracle gift.  Will you pray and ask God what amount He would have you give?  Make it the best gift you’ve ever given to CHIEF’s ministries.  We will endeavor to be good stewards of your gift and whatever God puts into our hands.    So we are looking forward to hearing from you soon!

We’ll be sending you our 2011 calendar in December, upon request. Let us hear from soon.

Blessings on you,

                                                The Gospel To Every Tribe,
