Fall Update from the Galegors

Good afternoon everyone!

It has been an absolutely perfect day in New Mexico. Fall is here the leaves are changing, the mornings are cool and crisp and the temperature is perfect. We have just finished Balloon Fiesta. One morning as I was taking Jaden to School there had to have been three hundred balloons in the sky at one time. It was incredible. We had a great fiesta this year only missed two days of the balloons going up, one due to wind and one to rain. If you want to have a great vacation and see the beautiful balloons, this is the place. Always the first full week of October every year.

Steve has really been busy, our trip to Oklahoma was great, we spent most of the time in the car but had a good time being with Jaden and spoiling him a bit. We drove to Amarillo the first day and stayed overnight with Steve’s brother. Then the next day pushed on to Ringold, Oklahoma. We had a nice visit with Dr. Rascher and Jaden enjoyed meeting him and just being in a new place. Steve attended the board meeting that evening and then the next morning we had breakfast at the Ringold Cafe (a real cultural experience) and then headed for home. We met our son Kendall and his wife and kids as well as Steve’s sister, Pat, just outside Oklahoma City for lunch and had a nice visit with them. We stayed all night in Sayre, OK and then drove home the next day. We thank God for your prayers for us and for his protection of us as we traveled. I have marveled over the 24 years we have been in New Mexico at the thousands and thousands of miles we have traveled with safety all the way. PTL!

Steve continues to teach his class on Thursday evening on Acts and I Corinthians, his class on Sunday morning on Phillipians and continuing that work into a commentary. He will be teaching a class after the first of the year in how to prepare a sermon. He will be teaching several men from the church and will also be inviting other men and pastors from the Albuquerque area. Please pray that many will take advantage of this class. Also coming up will be a week of teaching in Flagstaff at Indian Bible College and also a week back in Ringold in early spring.

Our days seem to be filled and passing so quickly. We can hardly believe that October is half over.

Thanks for your prayers and support for us. Please continue to pray for these classes and the ones to come. Also please pray for more Native men to step up to be trained, especially those who are Pastors.

His servant and Yours,

Steve and Chris
