Our speaker, Patricia Fleeger, Navajo, was born and raised in Gallup, New Mexico, then moved to Chinle at age 13. She and her husband Harold have been married almost 40 years and have 4 children and 14 grandchildren.
Patricia loves working with children and women. She went on to college and received several degrees in Psychology, Special Education, and Educational Leadership. She has been trained in working within the
juvenile system, foster care, mental health, and substance abuse programs.
She really loves directing preschools, teaching and administrating at public and private Christian schools. More recently she has been serving as a missionary and CEO of Native American Youth Ministries.
Patricia was raised in a Christian home and accepted Christ at the age of 8. Her love for God is evident in how she serves the Native people with great joy! We have all experienced joy and the lack of joy. We love having joy, but it is sometimes elusive. God’s word gives us some form of the word joy 430 times. It is a topic that is near and dear to God’s heart. It is
important, necessary, and desired. It is even disobedient to not have joy.
Come and enjoy a practical study on “Joy…ALWAYS” at the CHIEF Native Women’s Fall Conference November 1-2. Our hope and prayer is that it will change you from the inside out.
